About
Hannah Jackson

I am so happy that you are here and that you are ready to make changes to improve your life.

I am a licensed clinical therapist and am truly excited to help you along your healing journey.

What I Do Best:

Using evidence-based therapeutic skills and techniques I am here to partner with you to help you reach your goals. As a therapist, I am passionate about meeting you where you are and helping you realize how capable you are of recovery and growth. I believe that with the proper guidance, everyone has the innate capacity for healing.

Combined with traditional talk therapy, I provide treatment using evidence-based therapies including CBT for Insomnia (CBT-i) and Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT). I also have experience working with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, and those who may be in acute crisis.

How I Got Here:

I have always been interested in people’s ability to grow, change and overcome. This interest is what led me to get my master’s degree in social work. During my time as a social worker, it has been an honor to witness others improving their lives and be a part of helping them make lasting change.

I have also experienced my own healing, having dealt with chronic pain myself. I have experienced the hopelessness and despair that comes when you’re not sure if this pain will ever go away. I know the feeling of searching for answers and not finding any. Finding my answer to chronic pain in Pain Reprocessing Therapy has changed my life and I’m very passionate about helping others overcome chronic pain.

My Career:

I earned my master’s degree in social work (MSW) from Brigham Young University. I began my career working at a treatment center with children, teens, and their families. I then moved on to work in a hospital and have spent years working in the emergency department setting. There I have addressed many mental health struggles including, suicidal ideation, trauma, loss, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, substance use disorder, and somatic disorders. I have seen clients in times of crisis and trauma and have been able to provide crisis intervention and therapeutic support.

More recently I have become very passionate about helping those who struggle with chronic pain, as well as insomnia. I have been trained in both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i) and Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) to help address these issues.

The Fun Stuff:

In my free time, I love traveling and exploring new places, going on RZR rides, being outdoors, and spending time with my husband and daughter.
